Hi,
This is my first post here so i'm sorry if this isn't the place for it.

I'm looking to purchase my first mill (yay for me) well i found this relatively old (not as old as me) mill in a shed and was wondering anyone here might shed some light on what it is and how much it might be worth.

I'm guessing it's German, as the sign on the front starts with German wording.
the only thing apart from some surface rust on the dials is the front vice handle turns approximately 180 deg before the table moves. However the screw cover under the threaded shaft moves immediately when turned.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks FB2 EMCO to me or one of the clones.

Thanks very much for that.
Do you know much about them?
Would this be a good buy for a novice?
There are a few clamps and bits available with it.

Any idea on what it might be worth?

I believe Emco stuff is pretty good but no personal experience, so will have to leave it up to others here to comment. It's more likely a clone of the Emco. Looks like the Warco in the link I posted.

I agree. Looks very much like the Warco.
Thanks for the info so far.
