Just finished making my knurling tool.
Came out better than I thought it would. Also got lucky with the fit into an old soldering iron case.

... except the weld.... what happened there? You are not going to leave it like that are you? :)( :no: :B

Have you blackened that? What method did you use?

Yep sure am. I was hoping no-one would pick on my welding.
Lol I'm not very good at getting neat welds, esp on a short run but at least it's strong. Let's just call it a personal touch.

Yes, heat and oil quench.
The black makes it look good but it's more for the anti-corrosive qualities.
