Does anyone know of a good supplier of Metabo Angle Grinder parts?
I have several WE 14-125 with quick release nuts , not cheap junk ones which are starting to require some maintenance , eg stator and armature, fan , fan shroud, bearings.

The usual stuff after a few years of shop use.The one that needs the most parts was returned from an "authorised repairer" , and lasted a week , the main problem was that the two screws which hold the armature in position were not put back in .

Not interested in claiming "warranty " if that's his workmanship.

Michael,

Try these guys,

Genuine Spare Parts for ALL the biggest brands from Makita, Ryobi, Hitachi, and more Home Page (http://www.toolspareparts.com.au/)

They can obtain parts for a great number of electric hand tools.
I had success on a very old trim router which I thought I would never be able to source.

It can take a while dependent on how old the tool is and they are not the cheapest prices.

Thanks.
I will give them a try.
The local repairer has done this to others as well , he thinks that we should just buy new equipment from the local hardware , sorry not in the same league as what I have.

Parts are available , not free but cheaper than a new grinder .

Should get them either just before Christmas or the week after.
