Saw this and had to stop to check it out, there is a serious wow factor here. The bodywork is absolutely flawless, fit and detail is superb, far better than GM ever did, this is obviously not someones backyard creation. Talked to the owner (the man standing at the rear of the car) and he says the work was done by these guys.

new corvette old body style, Retro-vette, CRC, Corvette Conversions (http://www.crcoachworks.com/#!large-grid/cni3)

Apparently you don't buy a kit, you send the donor Corvette to the factory and they do all the work, no idea of a price but it can't be cheap. This was a brand new 2013 C6 Corvette, as the owner says, you send them a new car and they send you back an old one. F'n brilliant.

Just because he's parked in a disabled zone, doesn't necessarily mean he's disabled enough to require a wheelchair. I think the sticker at the bottom right of the windscreen is the permit.

Sure is a beauty!

A company in NZ called Beacham (i think thats it) do the same with Jags, only they take an old donor car and put modern engine/brakes/suspension/seats etc in. There are mobs in the UK that do the same.
Makes far more sense to make a new car with modern safety and performance look old though. I wonder though if it has the old car feel to drive, or does it just feel like a new car?
