Wandering around a 'Steptoe' junk yard the other day and I came across this old jigger. Looks like something out of a saw mill.

I'm thinkin with the gas axe I could get some pulleys for me lathe line drive...

Yay for line shafts!

It looks like it has quite a few small square block cutter heads, maybe it was a moulding machine????

You can send me the brass tags

It would be a real shame to cut that old iron up just for the pulleys.

What ever it is, I reckon it would be a great restoration project for someone. Not sure how you would move it, looks pretty heavy.

The chap who owns it just collects scrap as a side line to his earth moving business. When he gets enuf for a couple of semi's, and the price is right, off it goes.
He does the occasional ebay of stuff so I said to him if it remains un-sold near the fateful scraping day then I'll give him scrap value for some bits and pieces.

I'll ask if He's ebayed it yet and if no, suggest he list.

I'm no judge of cast iron weight though would guess under two ton. The owner has machinery to lift it.

Edit: Just occurred to me that I probably should've posted this in the wood work section ?
