Has anyone got any information or knowledge of FEARNAUGHT machines? I have a drill but can't find any info on the company.

They have the same name as the fire fighting suit. Used by the navy when I was in it.

How does someone manage to do this to a drill??? Can it be fixed by brazing and filling?

Without removing the rack, but sliding it up and down, I can't see any damage. I can only suspect that the rack is hardened the pinion isn't. Other than using the drill as a press I can't see how they did that damage, even then it would have taken some talent to do that.

Handle, Chuck, and all pulleys have been done. So has what is left of the table. G15 seems to make the clean cast iron kind of black. When I get a polishing wheel I'll go over everything again to a slightly higher finish.

Turned the belt shift up to the top for an overhead line shaft.
