You could see the focus and ability working together there.

Brings back memories of my dad at the forge making plow shears and horse shoes

I have done a quite a bit of striker-director work like that now, but I can't imagine trying to craft a rose like that. I think having worked hot metal at the forge you can appreciate even more how difficult that would be to do well.
