My daughter needs a favour (again)

I need to obtain some stainless steel or brass to duplicate the attached
souvenir (I've removed the head to show the cap on the end of the stick)

I need 3mm plate for the head and tubing to attach it to the handle.

Anyone know where I could find this, it's obviously a small hobby type order

Regards

Woodbutcher,

It is a souvenir version of one of those Swiss walking sticks SWMBO(v2)
wants a replica so she can have two hanging on the wall.

There is a scrap metal yard in King Rd Hornsby down a long driveway just past the Salisbury Rd corner, can't remember the name, but he is willing to sell small bits of brass, copper etc at reasonable to high prices by weight, but with something that small, probably $2 or $3. Last time I was there, he had lots of choice of size and thickness offcuts and will let you rummage around to find what you need.
Cheers,\
Graeme
