Anyone know here I can get some coke from in Adelaide, preferably southside. I've tried ringing some Farriers in Adelaide, but none use it anymore and have know idea where to get it. I've also tried a few landscaping and firewood supplies around Stirling, but again no luck., Ideas?

I'm not even sure were to begin looking for coke in Adelaide.

Does it have to be coke?

What about charcoal or cheap heat beads from the hardware store?

ABASA web site Artist Blacksmiths Association South Australia (http://www.artistblacksmithsa.org.au/Welcome.html) You may have to become a member to buy coke i'm not sure.
But if you are interested in hitting hot metal it would be the best thing you could do. They are a great friendly, growing group.

Ditto the above. ABASA sell coke to their members only.

Non members can get coke from Farmweld at Birdwood. It's a nice drive. Just make sure you phone first as they operate by appointment - and also to make sure they've got some bagged up and are there. Their number is 08 8568 5433. They sell 30kg bags and depending on supply bulka bags which hold about 800kgs. They have regular supply as they're also blacksmiths.
