I have an Amta Turret Lathe for sale. This was bought to restore, but I have realised I have far too many projects, so this regretfully will have to go.

Unlike others I have seen, this one as far as I can see, is complete. Comes with quite a bit of tooling including threading tools etc. Has a set of 10 B&S Collets as well. Some parts have been removed as a start to the proposed restoration, but it is still in operating condition.

I can deliver this for free in the Brisbane area if needed.

Price is $750.00 ONO.

Pics are as it was when I bought it and little has changed. It has been stored under house out of the weather.

Reduced to $650.00

May decide to move to smaller premises in the near future, so this has to go, as there will be no room for it.

Can you let me know some more of the specs?
What size range are the collets?
Overall length and width of the lathe?
Motor? 3phase? Hp?
What size are the tool shanks in the turret?
I am on the southside of Brisbane and might be able to find room for it.
Regards
David

Hi David

Sorry for the late reply. Have been without internet and phone for almost two weeks thanks to a telstra meltdown in my area. Will try to get you the info tomorrow.

Collets are -

3/16, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 9/16. One is square 13/16. Not sure about the remaining four as no size markings that I can see.

Motor ia a Electrokovina, single phase .75KW 1420 RPM with a three step pulley. Lathe has forward reverse switch.

Dimensions are 970L X 540W X 1100H. Bar feed adds an extra 360 to length.

Tool shank diameter is 3/4.
