I have a 9" Hercus lathe probably dating to the early 60s. I don't have a complete set of screw cutting and feed gears (would like to use features more). Came across a website for Mick Moyles Engineering Supplies in Sydney. They can supply second hand gears for all those I have missing at a reasonable price.

They seem so have a a good range of new and s/h stuff. Anyone on the forum dealt with them before?

Yes I have dealt with Mick before and offers a good range of stuff for hercus lathes. You could also try Emco machine tools in auburn (Sydney). They mainly deal with Myford stuff but I have seen some Hercus machines in there as well. I am not 100% positive but I have heard that most early hercus machines are based on Southbend lathes from the states so that might be another source.
