Starrett C 454 M Vernier Height Gauge

One used 40mm - 450mm height gauge.

Please note that the scribe and clamp are missing.

The top surface of the raised rib on the cast iron base has been ground neatly and is smooth and flat. For some unknown reason, the main knurled locking screw has been cut down. The fine adjuster locking screw is bent. All things that Ebay sellers neglect to point out. .

I'm chasing $105 PLUS the cost of registered postage anywhere in Australia.

It weighs approximately 3 kg when repacked in the cardboard carton in which it was sent to me from Texas

great. i have an imperial nsf one. im not is good with imperial as i used to be. the scribe on mine is 4.33mm wide. how wide and tall is the bit that the scribe. clamps on to on yours?

Sorry, I was going to buy it off Bob before he listed it on here, but was really after a dial one. After seeing the price drop, I am a sucker for a bargain :doh: so I grabbed it.
