Welcome aboard Shaun, have some fun using the board ask what you want ,you'll find most folk willing to help if they can.

Do a search for any topics you're interested in and you may be surprised by the amount of knowledgable content there.

Hope you enjoy yourself here, and share any detail you think worthy.

Cheers :)

Welcome also
I am sure the boys and girls on this board will be willing to share their knowledge with someone who is obviously prepared to learn,

Hey Shaun, if you love woodwork, why don't you get into cabinet making or furniture or something? When you're a builder, you'll be too busy organising subbies, arranging deliveries, dealing with clients and doing paperwork to pick up the tools. All the other guys will be having all the fun ;)

Shaun,

Welcome to the board.

I was 16 when I built my first sailboat which I was quite proud of but I didn't have the purpose in my mind that you have. I wound up doing an apprenticeship in aircraft instrument making

Go for it mate - just like a doctor, you can specialise after you've qualified if you want to, in whatever you want to

Enjoy

Jamie
