I am looking for a set of LED Trailer lights for my jayco, preference is for a set of Hella 2379 but would settle for some Narva 94202's. I can't get over how expensive these are ($170 a side for the Hellas) and was wondering if this is an Australian thing (like the price of tools)?

Does anyone know of an online business in the US or elsewhere that sell quality LED lights? I realise I would need to check they meet our standards. Really want to go sealed LED's but don't want to put the cheap Chinese ones on.

Thanks Jim, good for comparison. They seem to sell the Chinese liamps that the ebay sellers sell. I would happily put these on my trailer where they would cop a hiding but am really leaning towards the Hella lights for the van as they look far better and Hella has such a great reputation. I hate having to fix electrical issues on the road.

Hey Burnsy.

These are the light I use and recommend.

Welcome to Led Technologies Pty. Ltd. (http://ledautolamps.com/)

I've dealt with Tony since his early days, and helped set them up as a supplier to both Melbourne Trailers and autObarn. The range is always expanding, so you should find something you like, and to your budget.

They are a Manufacturer of their own designed lights, not just a supplier of cheap Chinese copies. They've also recently gone to great expense to defend their protected designs in court, and won.

Yonnee.

I bought a set of LED trailer lights from Repco the other day, made In Oz. They seem fine. $70 for the pair.

Thanks for the link Yonnee, went and checked out these (http://ledautolamps.com/product-details.php?pid=25) at the local autopro, close to $100 for a set of two, nice looking lights. Their amber/white clearance lights are not cheap though, set of 4 hella for $79 seems to be about the cheapest I have found.

Why do you need amber/white? In fact I don't remember them doing an amber/white clearance lamp. The Amber/white lamps they do are front indicator/parker lamps for road vehicles, not for trailers.
Side marker / clearance lamps are usually red/amber, and the 58ARM's on Page 65 (http://led-catalogue.ledautolamps.com/Olive/ODE/ledtech/) have a list price of $12.00+ ea.:2tsup:
Their white only front clearance lamps are only $17.50+ (58WM)

My mistake, they are amber / red as you say. Where are you getting the prices from? Autopro had them for about $24 each from memory.

It's LED's own list price. You can download it from the site. The rear lights you've shown list at $48.73+ ea.

Bear in mind though, the 58 series only have 2 leds, 1 each colour. The 35 series clearance lights have 4 leds, 2 per colour.
