    Default Ball and Radius turner

I'm putting the finishing touches to a ball and radius turner.
Nothing new here but I probably made it unnecessarily complicated.
One thing I did differently was to put the feed nut inside this gave me a much better range of movement.
Its 100mm across the dovetail very smooth and it has a real solid feel
I did have one mishap when a 4 jaw chuck mounted on my rotary table rotated whilst I was milling the faces below the inserts.
I intend to make a real plate adapter in the future rather than screwing the chuck onto a threaded mount.
Of course the first thing I will turn with is a grip for its handle.

    Default First ball

I turned my first ball for the handle today.
The cutter was a fraction of a mill low so there was a 0.5mm nib left on the end.
    Still the ball was fine.
    All good.
