Gave the guys at Mircomax a call, Paul was usefull and suggested that the alarm it is raising is W13 - %200 over current, and W12 - %200 over torque limit.

Mine is just throwing a W13 (Over Voltage) and W12 (Over Torque Limit) Code, i get a hellish squeal from the VFD and thats about it. no movement in the shaft.

I gave in and got a DANFOSS VFD from RS Aus, Yeah...
I gave in and got a DANFOSS VFD from RS Aus, Yeah its a 1420 RPM motor. same as the original i think? Was from that guy in Balcatta which you posted the link on earlier.

the head stock was indeed matched to the bead; there's no reason you couldn't fit a roller head stock, it would just require some shimming and fiddling around! it was common for Hercus to recondition...
