Another On The Move
Over the last few years I have said we are on the move at one point it looked like desperation due to agents managing this place and rental rises.
In about 8 weeks its going to happen and it will be our last move (we hope). Back to being home owners again after 20 yrs of renting.
I will be lost without the fantastic mates here in Sydney who have given so much in time, tools and friendship, but the forum email and FB & phone will keep me annoying them from time to time.
This is a dramatic move for us now being 60 yrs old, most down size we have taken the opposite route, which will see me have a double garage to work in, rooms for kids when they visit. Garden for Sue to do as she wishes in growing vegies, fruit trees etc, her own sewing room and room to use her floor loom not just have it sit idle in a room.
The bad news is for the QLDer's we are crossing the boarder........don't worry to much have heaps to keep me busy and out of your way.

Hi,
The best of luck with it all. Have fun with the move and the new domicile, you will probably find all sorts of lost treasures when packing.

Where in Qld Ray. I think you and Sue will love it up there. You will certainly enjoy the warmer climate.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Thanks all.
Ipswich region nice place high enough out of flood zone almost same outlook we have here with park just across the road, quiet street.........well till I get there and start up machines.
Tony its one of the reasons for the move when Sue felt the cold last year ...........not that QLD doesn't get cold just look at the places for sale with wood fire heaters must be a lot of woodies burning sacrificial offerings
Thanks Fred we are hoping so.
No worries Gordon was just making sure you hadn't got cold feet LOL.

Packing up a house and workshop after all that time is not high on my list of priorities. You and Sue have quite a task in front of you, plus all the hassles of arranging removalists, changing addresses with all the contacts we accumulate over the years and a myriad of other things that will come to light as crunch time gets closer.
I hope all goes smoothly, and congratulations in getting back into the property market.
