Hi All,
I have a very good 9a cylinder grinder made in the 1950's. I would really like to get hold of a manual for this machine or photo-copy if possible.
This forum looks like the most likely place to start. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
The only thing missing on this machine also is an internal grinding spindle. If anyone would have one not being used & want to part with it, please let me know.

Some time ago FW Hercus made available reprints of some of their machine manuals. Most of the reprints consisted of a few bound photocopied pages and didn't really touch on the machine operation. They were certainly not in the same league as Peter Hercus' substantial Text Book of Turning.
A manual for the 9A may be available from Hercus. Probably worth a phone call.
This may be a long shot but a former contributor to the Metalworking Forum, Phil Fehring, has and uses a 9A. Might be worth another phone call. P and L Machine Tools, Thomastown,Vic.
