When taking a photo of my stick Jetwelder for another forum post I decided to get all of them out for some photos. Most are a bit ancient like me but I use them all from time to time. I was surprised to find I have seven so probably won't be getting any more at the moment. All are single phase as that is all I have available with a SWER supply. Will see if I can add all the photos here, but if not will add extra posts.
Will add more info about these if anyone would like to know.
A nice collection there, enough to cover any situation. Good thing about the pics is, that should an insurance claim happen you'll have proof that they are/were yours. Besides a bloke can never have enough welders.:D

The bad news is that, the wife will know that you have seven (7), and any future purchases wont be able to be as easily hidden. :wink:

Mainly because I have the space to keep them all where I live on a rural residental 8 hectare block, plus I am a bit of a hoarder.
Brief story of acquisitions follows: Started F&T apprenticeship in 1960 at a large Brisbane engineering firm so learned to stick weld then.
Moved to a country town in early 1970s, needed to weld a few projects so borrowed a friends welder a few times so then decided I needed to get my own welder.
First welder was the Transarc Craftwelder during the mid to late 1970s. This was all I used for many years.
Moved to our block in 1988 and bought the SIP Coppermate 170 Mig soon after for more projects in smaller section pipe and rhs etc. Only ever used fluxcore wire.
Obtained the Lincoln jetwelder when a workshop closed and basically saved it from being scrapped. Recently replaced its power cable following advice from posters on another thread on this forum.
The Lincoln diesel Weldanpower AC was bought at a property closing sale about ten years ago not far from my place. Handy for welding away from power supply near shed and house.
The other three inverter type are more recent purchases (all chinese). Small MMA 140 caddy type bought to have a lighter more portable welder for above ground work.
The CT520 3 in 1 bought to use for plasma cutting and try out steel tig scratch welding. Set up in my welding/metal cutting shed and used for some stick and plasma. works ok, have cut 12mm plate but not cleanly, best at 10mm max.
The Weldsmart TIG 200P ac/dc bought a couple of years ago. Good stick welder and I have recently started TIG welding both dc for steel and ac for aluminium. This is a learning process but I am getting to grips with it now and will show results soon on another thread started on this forum.
Next is to try aluminium Mig on the SIP coppermate but need to get a new liner and possibly a new torch first.
Sorry this is a bit of a saga but that is how it goes when I start and don't maybe finish soon enough.
Ps Have been offered two transformer welders in the last few years for no charge but managed to decline!

I had earlier considered setting up my SIP Coppermate 170 mig machine to do some gas shielded welding with it but because it is about 30 years old and only been used with gasless wire I decided to keep it for that only. This meant looking for another Mig welder and after getting info from this forum and elsewhere I bought a Unimig Razorweld 165 with a spool gun for aluminium wire. The spool gun was recommended to me but I have since found out not everyone likes to use them but so far it is working ok for me. I have also tried welding with the SG15 torch with 0.9 mm alum wire and no major problems yet but i suppose time will tell when I get past practice into projects.

I bought this Lincoln AS400 welder recently which I don't really need. Noticed it on facebook a few weeks ago and was interested as I thought I would like to have it. Anyhow made a deal with the seller and it now mine. Over 40 years old with a Perkins three cylinder diesel, welds ok and can run larger rods than with other welders with my single phase SWER power supply. Have set it up in the open shed with the exhaust extended through the roof. Weighs 880 Kgs approx so would have to make a trailer if I wanted to move it around.

These welders were NOT For Sale. Look at the OP post date October 2014.
No where does it say that, in the OPs posts, these welders were for sale.
Some people collects stamps or coins , others butterflies. Normandy collects welders.
It is a show and tell type post Ok!.
Should you be merely pricing the welders that would be better done from sources either in your country or nearer to where you live. In that case which machine? There are a couple which can be Tig capable.
Power supply specs (voltage and cycles per second ) may well be different from your country to ours. As well the machine specs are likely to be several years out of date.

More links to a website = higher rank on search engines.
If you follow the posted link, you'll find a website with some limited content, usually copied from elsewhere, with lots of ads.
If you google "best TIG welder", or any topic really, you'll get a bunch of websites like these. The net is completely polluted by them.
A lot of forums lock old threads (inactive for 6 months etc) partly to prevent this spam.
