One of the most frustrating things for me with that episode was that after all that work, they did not say what the prep would go towards.

Because they were trying to reduce the weight of the whole thing, I think they too it out to weigh, it probably came in uder what they thought it might have been.
Would be intersting to know what they are planning to do next, wonder if it'll end up lke the Mini, similar body, but that's it!!!!

    Thanks Grahame
I watched that bit. Without spoiling it for those who had not seen the episode, I was trying to say after having removed the engine, what were they going to replace it with. At the end of Episode 2 it was apparent from Nick's comments that it was not going back in, but what did he have in mind?

    HI Michael,
After 24 episodes of Binky, I would hazard a guess and say it won't be an engine anyone is expecting.

Mini's not big enough , a Rolls Royce V12 Merlin motor.

I must say the Escargot build is moving along at a rapid pace compared to the Binky episodes.

Knowing this pair, there might be enough extra room for a turbo with the extra space provided by the engine swap.

I think they said that the engine was turbo'd

The speed could be due to Binky being a hobby project but the truck is a work vehicle. Be interesting to see how much more stuff has to be connected to that engine (and what Nick's 'idea' turns out to be)
