Default Free (legal) technical e-books site link

I came across this site in my wanderings around the web, didnt know if it had been mentioned before though..........

Mark's free (legal) technical e-books links

Many of these books are of order 100 years old but manual machining practice hasn't changed that much in that time period. Today we have CNC and better alloys. Also, back then they might be more likely to make a tool than buy one so the age of the books can be a benefit.

I would not mind owning a planer, but I know I never will...There was a nice 6ft Rockford hydraulic went cheap in that John's Valves auction in Bendigo last year..
