Removing and Restoring Label from Table
I have a Danish Modern Dinning Table that I am looking to restore. The Illums Bolighus Label is damaged. Mainly the brass plating has peeled off. I would like to know if its possible to restore the label and is there a way to remove it without damaging the label or table. There are tiny bolts that connect the label to the table.

G'day Robert,
Welcome to the mob,
Honestly I don't think the tab in itself is worth the cost of "restoring".
My suggestion, is once you remove the label, take it to an engraving shop.
I am sure the label can be reproduced and computer engraved exactly in solid brass sheet (not just plated ) to look the same as your original sample.
I am sure the engraving shops on your side of the world do similar labels for sporting trophies.
Cheers
Grahame

Thank you,
I found a place that can restore it but it is very expensive. What is the best way to remove the label without causing damage?

Robert we need to see an in-focus picture of the mounting method. Are you sure that they are bolts, or could they be rivets or even nails?
Greg
Oh...how are you going to re-finish the table?
