    Default restore old saw blades & old work tools

    Hi Everyone,
    Can someome tell me how to clean the rust & stuff on lold saw,s & things alike !
    I have a lot of old tools ,saws ect & dont know how to restore then.
    Any advice would be of help.

    Yes, electrolysis works wonders with bits of rusty metal, and it's almost fool proof

    Almost.

    Just make sure you don't reverse the polarity of the electrodes....
    Note to self: Mallet wins over wrist every time.

    Works well I can recommend it .
    Also cleaning vinegar works ,available from the laundry section of the supermarket.

    I've tried the electrolysis method, and it does work well. But I prefer this
    method:

    The stuff is expensive, but it seems to just keep attacking the rust until you end up with shiny metal with a minimum of rubbing. Run a search in these forums for Deox-c and you'll read comments. I like it.
