I really like your anvil Kev.

Can you describe the processes you used in making it?

    Foss,

The horn was cut to a rough shape with oxy acetylene torch and the ground with an angle grinder and then hand filed to get a smoother finish .
The arches in the web were also cut with oxy /acet and ground and filed .
Holes drilled on a small radial arm drill.
Would have been nice to get a finer point on the horn ,but I guess Id ahd enough grinding and filing.
I think I got the proportions pretty right ,seeing I had no pattern or original to follow.
I did all of this work at work when I was working in a power station and had good workshop facilities.

Nice anvil Kev. I can only imagine the amount of time and effort (blood, sweat and tears) required to knock it into shape. Very tidy work.
