Attention ! Those wanting to weld aluminium stainless steel
From time to time there are contributors asking what TIG machine to buy.
THIS ONE - Tig AC (aluminium),Tig DC (stainless steel and steel) Stick AC-most electrodes DC LH ,stainless, cast iron electrodes. Very versatile.
Its a fair dinkum working machine not a toy.
If you wish to weld aluminium, steel and have stick capability on AC and DC as well as well. The current models with these features will cost you around $5000.
They are are well made and long lived machine.
There are heaps of them still in workshops around Australia.
Check on parts availability and I am sure you will find no problems.
A good way of checking them out is to pick up the yellow pages and ring a shop that repairs welders. They will tell what is good and what is bad.
I have no connection with the seller, but thought I need to make the point about quality machines, again.
I have no idea about current $ values on them so please don't ask!

Thanks Grahame, I done exactly that. Rang about 20 different welding supply shops in Sydney and Wollongong and finally decided to go ahead with the purchase of this one.
Research is your friend, espcially when you want to spend serious $$$

Gee I wish I needed a TIG, what a bargain. I will give it a good home in case I need to use it and it will only be 30 minutes away if you need it again
