    Default A wire bending tool

I had to bend some 1/8" stainless rod the other day and was having trouble getting a nice uniform bend.
I came up with this tool which worked very well.

As can be seen, the rod sits in the groove in the handle and the rod wraps around the dowel pin. 90 degree bends are straightforward. I could probably bend to a more acute angle but would need to relieve the tool slightly to clear the back dowel.
You could also use something similar for bending metal tube; to stop it collapsing I have used nylon line trimmer cord inside to provide a minimum diameter opening.
