Thread: Has any body got a damaged PA MultiTool?

I am chasing the tracking mechanism for a 915 x 50mm PA. Multitool.
To be specific, the tracking lever and the plate with the press fit spigot it pivots on. Sorry no photos as the camera part of my mobile phone is leg up as well.

The offset hole in tracking lever has worn badly. It is eggshaped by several thou.
Even worse the small spigot shaft that the track lever pivots on has become loose in its press fit hole. Normally, I would attempt to repair.
I don't have the original specs to repair the damaged parts and lack some of the required tools.

Whites the agent for them has only info on new units and accessories, no mention of parts. Also there is no mention of PA manufacturing on google-have they gone to China?

I can't imagine anyone wanting to part with their fully functioning Multitool and hoping to secure a unit a damaged in other places- bar the tracking mechanism.

Thanks very much for your kind offer.

My friend thinks he has a adjustable reamer that will cover the required hole size. He is looking for it .Things got misplaced when he moved.

I will turn down a HT bolt to copy the pivot spindle and we shall make another lever.

Mate reckons we can ream the hole in the plate and press fit the spindle.

I'll keep you all posted as I am sure others might suffer a similar problem as their own Multi tools age. Damn thing is only 28 years old and breaking down already.

All the threads are in UNC pitch. Curious to know if the modern ones are the same.
