I can vouch for Simon's recommendation. Just purchased a set the other day to replace lights in the motor home. Draw about 600 m/amps and this is important with solar run systems.
    Go for it.

    Hi Simon, Guys,

These look very good ! It does surprise me when the seller says "Does not post to the UK" and the price here is a fair bit more.

Actually the ones I linked to do not come with the RF remote with dimmer.

    This one does.https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4x-12V-5...aSC:rk:52:pf:0

they are quoted at 1500 lumens per strip. At 9W each, thats 166 lumens per watt. Sounds a bit exaggerated for a 5630 LED chip but they are indeed very efficient at producing light in the visible spectrum with little wasted energy in heat.

I think only sodium vapour lights are more efficient and even then, who wants to light the shed up with orange light! Certainly with only 12V available these are the go.

Looking further, I see that a seller has 1 metre strips of the same LED. The seller claims to have magnets in the rear of the strips so that they can be stuck to metallic surfaces. This may be worth a look to for the OP.

Girl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Limited to 1 metre, may not be the easiest way to light up a shed.
I'd prefer the 5 metre rolls of un-waterproofed LEDs for indoor use, which saves 80 per cent of the wiring and terminations.
They are the cheapest option, but as you need to stick them to something there could be extra to pay for metal strip.
I've used aluminium and sheet steel.
