Default Waldown Radial Arm Drill Re-post

Hey everyone, this is my first post in this forum so I thought I would share my latest acquisition, mostly just because I want to talk about it and see if anyone has one or knows anything about them. I have no idea yet what model or vintage it is but it is in great condition.

I realised that I posted this in the off-topic section first so trying again.

There is no wear at all, everything is in fantastic condition. I'm not sure if the Stand is sturdy enough for me yet but i'll use it for a while like this and see how it goes.

    Hi Daniel,

It looks very nice, almost new ! A couple of small mods, assuming that the arm is not keyed and the head can rotate from side to side.
    Best Regards:

Can confirm that there is no key and the arm can rotate from side to side, slide in and out and swivel horizontally on the post.

    Hi Daniel,

    Thank you for your reply.
Sorry I got dragged away before I had finished my reply to you and then forgot I had done that.

What I was going to say was that you could add a removable keyway or a pin to prevent rotation and it would ensure that the head could always be set truly vertical without any messing about.

I must admit your machine does remind me of a small milling machine.
    Best Regards:
    Baron J.
