I've had this sitting in the shed for a while. Cylinder is about 300mm high so too big for what I'm thinking. Was originally going to use it for a bench press.
I think the pump should be OK - just need to get some more appropriate cylinders and make up some attachments.
Steve.

As mentioned before there are a few brands around. Hi-Force and Larzep are another two brands I use to repair along with a lot of others.
They basicly all make similar style and sized products. (Unless you go to someone like Caterpillar that have some specialty sizes that were made by enerpac ).
None of it is cheap, though it is all cheaper than enerpac.
Beware of ebay, some is fake and some is priced higher than what you pay through a retail outlet.

Just looking at your pics, the brand I have not come across before but the hose and fittings don`t look to be 10,000 psi rated.
Are they the original fittings?

No idea whether they are original fittings and hoses - it was like that when I bought it at a swap meet. Only thing I've done with it was to pump it up with no load to make sure the ram extended.
I'll have a look later and see if there is a rating anywhere on them.

They are probably rated to the maximum pump pressure. 630 Bar or 9137.38psi
If there are any cuts in the protective layer of the hose it really should be replaced or at least throw a protective sleeve over it.

It could be.
I just get nervy with 10,000 psi hoses and fittings. Use to get equipment coming into the shop all the time with brass, galvanized or other fittings. The one that scared me the most was air line (with a hole) fitted with hose clamps. Then you have the ATF or even brake fluid used instead of hydraulic fluid.

Hose has TECHNO CHEMIE - 2STT - 6 - DIN - 4/86. Possibly made in 1986??
The cylinder I have at the moment has FAG LZM 10/160 PN 500 8837. Guessing that might be 10T 160mm travel?
Since it all appears to be German, I'm guessing its original
I agree with you guys - although they might be OK I think its probably better to replace the hose and fittings with some known appropriately rated ones. The pump I'll probably just give a give a bit of an oil flush and see how it goes.

Weber Hydraulik is a very reputable German Hydraulics company. They even have a local dealer in Melbourne....

That piece of equipment is worth looking after! You wouldn't want to buy one new at today's prices....Cheers, Joe
