Default moving heavy things around workshop

A mate of mine uses a thing something like this to help him move a heavy gantry crane around his workshop. Might be useful idea for other folk. It was originally purchased to help position a caravan or a trailer but doubles as a pulling/shoving gadget in his workshop. I thought it was a nice bit of thinking.

Would it be possible to get some photos of your friends setup?

Max jockey wheel load 272 kg.

That isn't going to do it unless what you're moving is already supported on machinery skates or similar.

I just use machinery skates and/or a pallet jack. On smooth concrete it's no real problem moving up to 7 tonnes (heaviest thing I've tried to move by myself).

Yep thats right - the gadget he has got was for shifting big caravans - so probably a lot bigger and stronger than the one I linked to. My apologies, I didnt particularly mean that brand/model - it just turned up on a google advert and reminded me.

Will take some photos next time I am over there.

Pallet jacks are cheap and capable but they do take up a bit of space.
