    Ah. A non-functional machine with little chance of getting parts is definitely a different matter. I then tend to price them at maybe $200/tonne if I'm feeling lucky.

    My Tos T&C grinder cost me about the price for scrap. If I hadn't the ability to make new screws & nuts and a pile of other small but time-consuming repairs (and the tooling to do this) it would have stayed where I got it - the local tip shop.

    I suggested to offer $500 to $600, thats where I would start.

    Yeah - that sounds fair for a machine with issues. As we all know, there are always more issues than those you can see.
