Default Another Saw Arbor - This Time From Switzerland

I had posted and just now removed these photos in Simon's Pacific mill rebuild thread in response to his comment in this post - //metalworkforums.com/f303/t200...87#post1937387

I had ventured out to Fiora Machinery yesterday in pursuit of a modular vice. There was a two piece Vertex vice but nothing modular. What I did find in a display case was the arbor below. It looked familiar with its finish and stamped sizing. I purchased my 13 from the Fiora brothers in 2010 and included in the purchase was a crate of accessories. One of those accessories was what looked like an unused long 1" cutter arbor with its full compliment of spacing collars.

The short arbor was probably removed from the crate prior to my purchase. Other than the slight corrosion it shows no evidence of use. Schaublin provided a wide size range of these arbors in both metric and imperial sizes.
The 13 cannot accommodate a 6" saw on the long arbor, the overarms get in the way. With this arbor and its keyed drive I have a few more options. Another handy acquisition.

    Nice work Bob!

You had me confused for a little while, my tapatalk thingy showed a reply from you in my rebirth of the Pacific FT2 but when I went to look at the reply on the PC it was non-existent. Messing with my head Bob!

Anyway, another nice piece to add to your collection.

    Cheers,

    Simon
Girl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Not trying to mess with that head of yours Simon but my reply in your thread, whilst relevant to your comment, didn't need to be there. It's your thread about the Pacific, not the place for a blow-in to be featuring his latest acquisition of Swiss exotica!
