    Default Perrin Freres Moutier S.A. Type U-1 Milling Machine

    Dear people,
    name is Florian (26), I'm from germany and own a "Perrin Freres" Milling Machine, Type U-1. The machine is a near copy of the famous Deckel FP1, but some parts are different and i'm searching for information. Every time a use google for it, it sends me to your forum at the following thread:
    //metalworkforums.com/f65/t1340...illing-machine

    The problem is: There is nothing about the machine, but one of the writers seems to got one. So: Does anyone have any information about that type of machine or know the user personelly? I would like to use the machine for horizontal milling, but i don't know how to mount the counterholder and don't know how it should look like with it.

    That's the machine:

    Thanks from germany
    Florian
