Spindle taper I.D. ?
Hi ,
Looking at this spindle . The chap is not sure and all he says it is a quick change chuck. What type of spindle taper would it be ? MT maybe. It's a SIMA vertical milling machine from the 1950's or 60's. Thanks Mike

That looks like a key less drill chuck, be hard to say what the taper is. A machine I had years ago had a chuck like that and it was threaded on similar to portable drill.

S.I.M.A. Rossi Milling machine
maye be of use. This suggests ISO 30.

You are going to have real trouble identifying it without seeing the tooling, jig borers have used some strange stuff
