    Hi Chris,

    I'll have to remember that, I don't think I've used lube on bronze.
    But yes about the swarf. Everybody warns about taking the edge off drills when drilling brasses and bronzes to stop them grabbing, but for turning the tools need to be very sharp.

    Ebay!!

    I find it's cheaper for most things to get it sent to a New Zealand Post forwarding centre in Middlesex. Even with domestic Royal Mail costs, plus NZ Posts charge, it's usually significantly cheaper than using Ebays international shipping rates.

    UK international postal rates have gone up enormously, even local ones.

    Prices can be found here: https://www.royalmail.com/current-postage-prices

    The lists are pdf files, but at least they will be up to date.
