    This was a long, long time ago, but an uncle of mine somehow got hold of some gelignite and it was found on top of the fridge by someone after he had passed away. Don't quite remember all the details but I heard it was starting to sweat. Not an expert, but apparently that is not good. Heard he was going to remove a tree stump beside the house. Yes he was a little crazy from what I remember.

    It was quite easy to get in the sixties and seventies. My father used it to blow out stumps and trees to clear land for cropping.
