    Default T.N.C. tools.

    Hi Guys..

This mysterious Aussie (or Kiwi) business has had me interested for some time now, and every so often something turns up with their name on it. Most people who have an interest in lathes are aware of the tiny TNC lathe that was a copy of the English Adept...but they also made other stuff.
    I have seen...
    1.. Scribing block.
2.. Tap wrench.. similar to the Starrett.
    3.. Vee blocks.
    4.. Hobby/Jewellers vice.

Can anyone add to this list ?
    Ken.

Sadly not much more I could find on Google

Was there anything like a stamp on the body or cast marks to id these tools?

You're right..not much out there ! The lathes had it cast into the body/base with an oval decal further up. the small 4 jaw chuck had T.N.C. (in an arc)stamped into the front face.
Have attached pic of my vee blocks ... and the vice.

Hopefully some member here may have something at home.

This thread just might stir some memory of a a particular marked tool tool sitting up in the shed.

    HI,

I have a TNC lathe and bench vice. Shameless plug, I'm selling the lathe on evil bay. Getting rid of some the stuff I've gathered and don't use.

Was there something wrong with your hand that it required reshaping?
