Default Resources for round column mill owners

    Hey,

Was going to ask a few questions about tramming round column mills, .... but then I found these websites and figured I'd better read and absorb this stuff before asking any questions. Might be useful to others too.

    Rick's Web Site: Machining

and this youtube channel is good - you wont find it by searching on ROng Fu or RF30 beacuse he calls them Wrong Fu or Wrong Foo

    https://www.youtube.com/user/ReignOterror/videos

Have massively improved the tramming of my mill recently but still got some fine tuning to do and wondering how much effort to put in given that the general consensus is that as soon as I move the head it goes out of tram - have seen this for myself but need to learn a heap more about tramming and mill alignment.

I used to have one and someone in here told me a trick by just mount a laser torch on it. You just need to get the laser dot back into the same place (where ever it was on the wall before you moved).
