Thread: Does anyone have a Centec mill?

A while ago I bought a small milling head that turned out to belong to a Centec mill, and it was the Mk3 version as well, the ultimate of the evolution. This is a picture of one - not the one I have which is much scruffier but you get the idea.

My long term aim was to mount this on my current mill (off to one side) primarily so I had a quill capable of drilling fine holes. The more I look at it, the more it looks like I will have to do things that will be irreversible to this head which is something I am reluctant to do. I could get the same function in other ways and as these are a rare bit of kit, wanted to check that there was not a Centec owner out there hoping one day one would show up.

Hi Michael, yes l have one that l saved from the scrapie and although it needs a little work it is a goer and is missing the vertical head.
That vertical head would be great, how much do you want for it ?
