The simple option would be to file a square groove into the bore of a standard washer, weld/braze/silver solder a small square into that, filling the groove and sticking into the bore by the required depth for the keyway and then file the shape to a neat fit into the keyway. Should take about 15 minutes. Sometime a little hand work and hand fitting is a LOT faster than laser cutting and the required CAD to get there....

Laser cutting wouldn't have even occurred to me for a one-off...

    Hi Alf
I like Joes suggestion, or as an alternative, with a bit of patience, you could cut the shape with a jewellers saw.

I did have some trouble removing the retaining nut, so had to make a special tool and use a rattle gun

Note to self - use thread lube on the nut.

Is there something wrong here or is it me; (od - id)/2 should equal width of collar - 53.4- 32.1 = 21.3 divide by 2 = 10.65 not 12.6. Can someone explain what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks

    Bob
