Ultrasonic cleaner and concrete lathe
I vaguely remember somebody saying these were good,
https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-sat-10-march/saturday-detail-wk10/ps/p/ultrasonic-cleaner/
available again on Saturday 10 March.
I've always been fascinated by concrete lathes and mills, stumbled across this recent build yesterday, might be of interest to people. A chap called Joe Romig published plans for a horizontal mill made of concrete in the early 1900's and then there were the concrete "yeomans lathes" in WW1.

I think with the ultrasonic cleaner you get what you pay for and you can't expect a great deal from $30 - the wattage is not specified but if it is like all of the other budget ultrasonic cleaners I imagine it would be around 30-50 watts, enough to get "loose" dirt and grime off but not enough to get the stuff off that's been there for 30 yrs.
I have an ex dental surgery ultrasonic cleaner rated at 200Watts and at times that has trouble shifting corrosion and grime from vintage electronic parts in the gear that I repair/restore. If you just want a cleaner for doing jewelry then the Aldi one is probably going to be fine.
