Default School me on Quick change tool post

Looking at getting a quick change tool post for my lathe (finally) its a old herless job that has a center height of 178mm and i have a mix of tooling.

do I just order a BXA wedge type from CDCO? OR is there massive variance in quality? Or am I way off?
Im hoping to be able to setup most of my normal tools in holders so Im not spending quite as long when I swap tools and have to reset everything.

Its a pretty well covered topic, the best options for those that dont have the money for legit $$$ toolposts are either what you are looking at, a wedge - clone or one of CREATE's 40-position multifix clones

I prefer the multifix, BUT they are much more difficult to make your own holders for.

I would be inclined to buy one that the tool holders have either a male of female dovetail on the back . That way they are easier to make extras .
You also have to get the right height tool post for your lathes centre height which can be difficult with some lathes . You could be limited by which one fits your centre height or be lucky and have a choice . I was unlucky and nothing fitted my centre height at the time so had to make a simple one.
