Any one recognise or know what these are?
The local Men's Shed somehow came to have these things from I don't know where.
Most likely part of some tool or system to do who knows what.
What you see in the pics is all there is. Whatever tool they are part of is missing and unknown.
They all the same size and shape. Each one consisting of the the part with the external thread, and one of the chaser or tab, with thread to match.
They are about 50mm long and 25mm diameter. Each set seen in the boxes with a different external thread. Ranging from 16 to 56 tpi and 0.5 to 1.0mm pitch.
Most of then still wrapped in unopened grease paper.
Any one have any ideas?

I recognise them as thread followers for thread cutting on a lathe without geared leadscrew.
I can't judge the size of them without any reference, but they look similar to those off an Emco Unimat SL1000 or earlier.
If they are, they are worth a fortune! - and useless for anything else without the lathe they belong to....
There is one reference I can find on eBay: 7 METRIC THREAD MASTERS & FOLLOWERS UNIMAT LATHE SL1000 / DB200 | eBayCheers, Joe

My guess is Unimat 3 Master and Follower for threading. Is there a six digit number on the boxes? Can't remember what else is needed, but may be interested if you want to sell. Might adapt to my Toyo. Might be a lot of work though.

I knew someone would know what they were. 😂
UNIMAT 3 THREAD Cutting Master & GUIDE
Probably very little demand, however there are some available for $40US plus each.
Looks like this is a full set.
