Whitsunday members.
I know we have one member from the northern Mackay region, The Beryl Bloke.
Hope he survives unscathed the wrath Debbie is inflicting on the area about now. It is a very destructive cyclone because of it's size and extremely slow moving speed.
Hamilton Island airport is recording sustained wind speeds of 180kph and gusts to 220kph.Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.

Hi Guys,
Its all over the news here in the UK. The pictures are horrific, lots of damage. They say that there are coastal storm surges causing flooding. I hope that everyone stays safe.Best Regards:

Debbie is doing a grand tour of ecentral and south eastern Queensland now.
Reports of 500+mm of rain around Proserpine.
Then 300mm falls as it heads south.
This area where I am had falls of up to 180mm just last night, and it has extended far inland.
