Default Box tubing clamp for holding table leg to table frame

    Hi All,

I made a kids table and benches on the weekend which was good fun and a bit of proof of concept for the design that I will use to make a bigger version as an outdoor setting. I used a 90 degree corner clamp to keep the upper frame square, and then in a second operation I used the same clamp to clamp the legs to the finished upper frame and welded those on.

I was wondering if a clamp exists that would simultaneously allow me to clamp the table frame and legs so they would all be square to each other and could be welded in one go? The attached technical drawing might explain what I am trying to do better.

Thanks Bob - your post also led me to this one:

I found a price for it on another website and it was like $400 or something...brutal. I think i'll go with your version!

It should not be that difficult to make a corner clamp like that especially if you could find a premade corner of a steel box that could be adapted.
