Battlebots and Robot Wars
Channel 99GO Wednesday nights Batttlebots
This is fabulous, you get tantalising glimpses of the workshops and then you get to watch these robots destroy eachother inside a ring made of bullet proof glass.
Robot Wars is the UK version seen on British telly.
For those of you with decent internet access you can see lots of videos on youtube.
I think its great.

I have in the past seen some of these battles. The amount of work that goes into those machines is amazing. It's very intertaining to watch one machine destroy another!
SimonGirl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.
