wedge type QCTP on AL960 lathe
Has anyone fitted a wedge type qctp to the al960.
The AL 960 has a toolpost bolt with a shoulder to seat down onto on the top slide when screwed in.

To make 5/8 bolt with shoulder will not fit into the block of the QCTP.
Would it be suitable to just make and screw in new bolt without a shoulder for the qctp.

I fitted a BXA wedge style to my al960b. A new bolt was required. I have a vague recollection it was an M16. I will check when I'm next in the shed.
