    Its not been all had work sorting and settling in in QLD. This last week daughter & SiL came to visit SiL insisted on visitingIpswich Railway Workshops Museum

    The big lathe in photo above was built at the workshops for the army. They had to widen the doors to get it out.

    Daughters choice was more speed and sleeker transport modes.
    Amberley RAAF Musuem

    The Brisbane Commodore Car club also had a display that day there.

    Has the negative for the photo of the lathe been reversed or was the lathe built with the chuck on the right ?

    You noticed too. Its a photo of the museum photo so I guess the neg was flipped,

    Thanks Phil poor effort on my part I missed the Indian Scout running round .

    Due to rain and injured foot Kingaroy was not for us this time.

    Hi all, I'm not quite as daft as I would appear, just a stray finger on the iPad and once I thanked for the non existent pictures, I can't retract. I certainly agree with your summary of Ray's work though Phil, very enjoyable
