Wayne seems to have got some good prices. The first item I have been hummimg and harring about lately, but in the 10mm shank and 11mm insert size. I ordered an internal 10mm shank tool a week or more ago. I am trying to decide whether the small external one will be useful given that I have a 25mm shank tool already. Anyway both the 12mm and 10mm were $US8.00.

Do I read the CTC website correctly, they are mainly despatching from Denmark rather than Hong Kong? Sort of makes sense if you have heaps of customers in Europe.

How is payment made with aliexpress? Is it safe. I've always used eBay with paypal without any issues.
Also does AliExpress end up cheaper than ebay? Is there a larger range of items on there?
Thanks

I recently bought a clone of the GM tech2 scan tool for my car off aliexpress, it all worked out ok. payment was with creditcard. I did a fair bit of research before i bought it. i dint find many bad reports, just to only buy from sellers that have sold a lot of items and have good reviews. I don't think it is as "safe" for buyers as ebay is, but considering how cheap some of the stuff is on there i think it is worth a go. I will probably buy more stuff through aliexpress in the future.

Aliexpress is the international segment of the Alibaba Group, which alwo runs Taobao, the Chinese equivalent to eBay.
The Alibab Group is about 5 times as big as eBay and about 1.5 times as big as Amazon.

via normal credit card.
Had a few heart beats a few years ago when lens for camera didnt show up after parting with nearly $1k (for a $2.5k lens ...which to be honest should have rang bells) ....all good money refunded, and a bit more to boot due to Au$ V US$ exchange rates.
Never had any other problems
IMO Aliexpress is safer than ebay and as good as Paypal.
as for being cheaper than ebay...probably yes as a lot of stuff on ebay is from aliexpress suppliers.
